"Shane LeBaron worked with me as an assistant golf professional at Moss Creek Golf Club for three years. His golf instruction was well received by our membership, he developed a strong following of students, and he enhanced our lesson programs with fun and creative ideas. His strengths include his communication skills and his desire to keep learning to improve his own teaching skills by studying with top instructors around the country. Shane has the knowledge to improve your game but more importantly a passion and enthusiasm to make it happen!"

A note from her mother...
My daughter, Samantha Buchanan, started taking lessons with Shane in July 2007. After just one lesson I could see the excitement of learning in her face.
Shane challenges her each and every lesson. He teaches her so much more than how to swing a golf club. His knowledge of the game is very inspiring. After working with Shane for just one short year her handicap went from 11.5 to a 5.1 and she gained a lot more distance with all of her clubs.
Her short game has also made tremendous improvement. She received the MVP award for the Varsity Golf Team at the age of 13. She has also won several different events including the Hilton Head Island Jr. Golf Championship and the South Carolina All Stars tournament where she competed against some of the top golfers in the state.
Sammie wouldn't have improved as much in just one short year if it wasn't for Shane. He's an awesome instructor and a wonderful person!

Stan Rainey Student of Shane LeBaron Member of: Moss Creek, Belfair & Berkeley Hall |
"I am 58 years old and I have been as low as a 4 handicap, but in the last 3 years I have had 2 left knee scopes, a knee replacement and finally 3 unsuccessful surgeries to repair a torn patellar tendon. During this time I have tried to continue to play golf. Many times I considered quitting the game because I was playing so poorly. Each surgery caused me to make compensations in my game, and Shane worked hard to help me overcome my physical limitations. I had gotten all the way up to a 16 handicap and presently hover around a 9. I have had rounds in the 70s and could not have done so without Shane's help. Most pros would have given up on someone who basically plays on one leg. Not Shane. He has given me some hope that I may play a respectable game and can continue to improve."

"Having taken several lessons from Shane LeBaron with remarkable improvements, I think I know what makes him so successful. Shane has a unique abiltity to instruct each golfer based on an approach that fits his or her swing characteristics. He adapts his teaching skills and communicates in a manner that allows the student to maximize their potential without restricting their creative side. He listens well and has the abiltiy to make suggestions that each student understands will improve their enjoyment of the game. He doesn't have a cookie cutter method that all golfers MUST follow. The techniques he suggests often allow the golfer to improve on their weaknesses and actually experience positive results."
"After taking lessons from Shane, my handicap is the lowest it has ever been at 51 years of age. You really can continue to improve if you are willing to work at it and take advice from an instructor that understands YOUR game. Shane is the greatest and I would highly recomend you setting up your next lesson with him."
